Week 5 to 8: Tile, Coping, and Decking
This is one of the most visible phases of the build. Waterline tile and coping materials are installed around the edge of the pool. Additionally, all deck forms are set up, inspected, and poured. Finishes such as pavers, natural stone, stamped concrete, or cool decking are applied during this phase. This stage involves multiple trades and therefore can take a few weeks to complete fully.
Week 8 to 10: Equipment and Interior Finish
Pool equipment, including pumps, filters, valves, and automated control systems, is installed and connected. The interior finish is also applied during this phase. Interior options range from mini pebble and aggregate blends to full glass tile. Each finish type has different curing and application times, which can affect the overall schedule.
Week 10 to 12: Fill, Startup, and Pool School
Once the interior finish has cured, the pool is filled with water. The startup team tests all pumps, valves, filters, and lighting systems. Water chemistry is balanced, and any adjustments are made.
